Living room with a long clerestory window, a low oak coffee table and leather ottomans in soft afternoon light

Spaces with a sense of permanence.

Interior architecture shaped by material, light, proportion and the way people live.

New York · Est. 2016

Approach

We create interiors that become richer through use, light, material and time.

Marlow & Finch is a New York interior architecture studio working across residential and hospitality projects. Our work begins with architecture and proportion rather than decoration. Materials are selected for the way they age, light is treated as part of the architecture, and every object is considered in relation to the room around it.

Material Study

Material is never simply a finish.

The character of a room is often determined by how materials react to light, touch, wear and time.Select a material for detail
